George Zard Abou Jaoude started his real estate career in Saudi Arabia 1976 after graduating from the American University of Beirut with a BA in Architecture.

From 1976 to 1988, he managed and co-chaired both the Modern Design Company Ltd, and the Saudi Aluminum Manufacturers, and successfully developed over twenty high-end architecture and interior design projects.

A decade later, Abou Jaoude moved back to Lebanon and undertook over thirty residential, commercial and mixed-use projects. Among them is one of the largest real-estate developments in Lebanon: BeitMisk, located in Atshaneh, Metn, at the heart of Mount Lebanon.

BeitMisk covers approximately 655,000 sqm with 1,800 units to be divided respectively into apartments, villas and townhouses. Moreover, it has a downtown area that comprises a variety of cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and boutiques, which all reinforce BeitMisk’s lifestyle and animate its center. BeitMisk is more than a residential project; it’s all about maintaining a sense of community, with the village as an epicenter.

Abou Jaoude is also the man behind Zardman, a new and visionary real estate company that develops new neighborhoods and promotes a new lifestyle.
