when I think of Lebanon I am hopelessly optimistic.
As a successful businessman and entrepreneur, George Zard Abou Jaoude has great hopes for future expansion plans and urban developments.
As an unequivocal fan of Lebanon, he sees great potential in his home country. He aspires to rebuild Lebanon’s image so that it would one day regain its reputation as the Switzerland of the Middle East. He aims to do so by building new residential and mixed-use developments, engineered to cater to future generations by adapting to changing needs and lifestyles. He wants to promote growth and entrepreneurial spirits by sharing his know-how and ultimately encouraging local investments.
Moreover, George Zard Abou Jaoude feels passionate about giving back to his country. On that note, he set up the GZA Foundation. The foundation’s main objectives are aimed at investing in young and forward-thinking entrepreneurs, associations, ideas and projects that would ultimately contribute to bettering the Lebanese economy and society.
It will develop a full-fledged mentorship program, and provide the bright minds that are looking to implement their entrepreneurial initiatives with the know-how of established, successful and thriving business owners and public figures. The foundation will also be involved in handing out cyclical charitable donations aimed at improving local social conditions.
